Private Makkah city taxi — hotel to Haram transfers and local rides anywhere in Makkah, hired by the hour from SAR 85 per vehicle, 24/7.
Every other page on this site takes you between cities. This one is for the journeys inside Makkah itself: your hotel to the Haram for prayer, back again after Isha, across to Masjid Ayesha at Tan'im to enter Ihram, or out to the shops and restaurants of Aziziyah. Our Makkah city taxi is a private car and driver hired by the hour, from SAR 85 per hour in a sedan, with the total confirmed on WhatsApp before the driver sets off.
Local rides are where pilgrims most often overpay — a street hail at prayer-time rush, an app fare surging as thousands leave the Haram at once. A pre-booked city taxi removes all of that: the driver knows your hotel, agrees the closest reachable pickup point, and the price per hour was settled before he left. Stay an hour, keep him for the evening, or stretch the booking into a full day — the car works around your prayers.
One fixed fare per vehicle — choose by passengers and luggage, not by the minute.

Fares are per vehicle for the direct journey and are confirmed on WhatsApp before travel. Peak Ramadan and Hajj dates may carry a seasonal supplement — always agreed with you in advance, never added silently.

Most local rides are short: the clock-tower and Ajyad hotels sit minutes from the Haram, Ibrahim al-Khalil Street and Misfalah a little further, Aziziyah and Kudai across the tunnels. What decides the journey is rarely distance — it is prayer time. Streets immediately around Masjid al-Haram close to traffic as prayers approach, so your driver agrees the nearest legal drop-off and pickup point with you on WhatsApp and walks you the last stretch by phone if needed.
The classic local run beyond the Haram itself is Masjid Ayesha at Tan'im, the nearest Miqat — about 7 km away — where pilgrims enter Ihram for another Umrah; Ji'ranah is the other Miqat run drivers make from Makkah. Add the supermarkets and gift shops of Aziziyah, a family dinner across town, or a hospital or clinic visit, and the hour-based car quietly becomes the most useful booking of a Makkah stay.
Pickups run from any Makkah hotel or apartment. For Haram trips, tell us your hotel name and which prayer you are aiming for — your driver will suggest the departure time that gets you there before the roads close, and agree exactly where he will wait for the return.
City taxis run 24/7, including the nights of Ramadan and the Fajr run that starts many pilgrims' days. For a single prayer trip at a peak hour, booking the evening before guarantees your car; longer hourly blocks and full days can usually be arranged the same day.

Our Makkah city taxi is hired by the hour: SAR 85 per hour in an Economy or Business Sedan, SAR 130 in a Hyundai Staria, SAR 150 in a Toyota Hiace and SAR 175 in a Family SUV or Luxury Class. Tell us your plan on WhatsApp and we confirm the total for the hours you need before the driver sets off — no meter, no surge.
As close as the roads allow. Streets immediately around Masjid al-Haram close to traffic around prayer times, so your driver uses the closest legal drop-off point for your hotel's side of the Haram and agrees it with you in advance — for most central hotels the walk from the drop-off is a few minutes.
Yes — the Tan'im run is one of the most common local trips we drive. Masjid Ayesha is about 7 km from the Haram, and your driver waits while you pray two rak'ahs and enter Ihram, then brings you back to the Haram or your hotel. Mention it when booking so the time is built into your hours.
Time and shape. The city taxi is hourly hire for short local work — a prayer run, a Miqat trip, a few errands. The full-day private driver is a ten-hour block (from SAR 800 in a sedan) for days that mix Ziyarat, shopping and family visits. If your plan grows past five or six hours, the full day usually works out better, and we will tell you honestly which is cheaper for your plan.
Yes, 24/7 — including Fajr runs to the Haram and late-night returns after Taraweeh in Ramadan. Around each prayer the streets nearest the Haram close and traffic peaks, so your driver plans pickup points and timing around the prayer schedule rather than fighting it.
Yes. Book the hours you need and the same driver drops you before prayer and waits or returns at the agreed time afterwards — the usual pattern for Jumu'ah and Taraweeh. Tell us both times on WhatsApp and the booking is built around them.
